Color of a diamond is determined by the amount of yellow found in a diamond. The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) grades color alphabetically. All Brown and Company Jewelers diamonds are Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or American Gem Society (AGS) certified.

D: Absolutely colorless E-F: Colorless, trace of color can be detected by expert gemologist G-H: Near colorless I-J: Near colorless, color is slightly detectable K-Z: Increasing yellow (not carried at Brown and Company Jewelers)
